Ballet classes
Ballet workout
I originally trained in 2001 with the New York City Ballet on their ballet workout programme. I have developed the programme and created my own bespoke ballet workout. The workout involves standing ballet warm-ups, balance, use of light weights and squats. I also include standing and seated stretches and floor work; focusing on legs, abs and general strength. There is a standing centre which includes basic ballet exercises again focusing on strength, power and balance. We finish the class with jumps, for cardio fitness.
Adult ballet
I offer various adult ballet classes throughout the week. Ballet basics focuses on technique, placement and posture. Intermediate ballet focusing on technique, dance quality and centre practice. Ballet barre and stretch to help improve flexibility. There are many options throughout the week. I hold Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing teaching qualifications. I trained at the Northern Ballet School and Pineapple Dance Studios. I danced professionally with a French ballet company and with a variety of modern dance groups.
I offer: Adult Ballet
Monday
10.00 - 11.15 - Intermediate Ballet
11.15 - 12.30 - Improvers Ballet

Online ballet
In addition to my daily classes at 10 am, I offer recordings of all online classes. With a recording you can dance at a time of your choice and pause the recording to practice certain steps, it is a very flexible option.
A popular choice is my 15 minute express ballet boot camp. It is a recording that offers flexibility; 15 minutes is usually manageable to fit into a busy schedule. They are changed every month so you get a variety of exercises. The charge is £9.99 for the month.

1-2-1 private online Zoom class and now in studio too
I offer private lessons via Zoom, £20 for half an hour that are bespoke and tailored to your requirements. We can work on any elements of ballet technique that you are looking to improve. We will discuss your requirements before the class commences so that you get the maximum benefit from your private one to one session. Whilst working on Zoom for the past year and a half, I have seen dancers turn from cygnets in to swans!
The progress has been amazing with improvements in strength, posture and their understanding of ballet techniques. I love teaching these lessons and to see the enjoyment the dancers gain from their achievements is so rewarding. They can then bring their newly acquired knowledge to their group class and are able to work hard on improving their technique and dance artistry. I have been delighted with the positive feedback.
